Person’s Quote

Feature a quote from a person saved in the “People” content type.

How to Use
  • The Person’s Quote component pulls the quote directly from the selected person’s profile content type.
  • It is recommended not to use a quote block at the top of a page.
  • Do not use more than one person’s quote on a page.
  • It is not suggested to highlight more than one person’s quote per page.
How to Build

Make sure you are using the “backend editor” to build out the component.

  1. Click the Add New Element plus icon to add a component to the page.
  2. An Add Element window will appear, choose the Person’s Quote option.
  3. The settings dialog box will appear. Fill in the appropriate fields.
    • There will be a list of people, choose the person whose quote you wish to feature.
    • If you choose the “Blue Image” layout option, you will also be prompted to select a photo to use as the background.
  4. Click Save changes.
  5. Click the Edit this row pencil icon on the row containing the new component.
  6. The Row Settings window will appear, find the Row stretch select box and choose  Stretch row and content (no paddings).
  7. Click Save changes.

Content Guidelines
  • The Person’s Quote component pulls the quote directly from the selected person’s profile content type.
  • The length of the quote should be between 150-200 characters.
  • Quotes should be authentic from the quote author.
  • If editing an original quote, be sure it does not sound overly promotional or fabricated.
