Advanced Topics in Bioethics Course

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Bioethics Academy (SNFBA) is pleased to introduce the Advanced Topics in Bioethics Courses, offered up to twice per year.  Open to SNFBA alumni and those with advanced bioethics knowledge, these specialized courses will explore different bioethics topics, providing opportunities for new and specialized bioethics content.

2025 Advanced Topics Course – “Ethics in Neuroscience”

The program features distinguished faculty from ETH Zurich and Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics and offers a highly interactive learning experience through expert-led lectures, case study discussions, and participant presentations.

The course will explore ethical dilemmas arising from advancements in neuroscience, including neurotechnology, cognitive enhancement, human and animal neuroscience research, and neurorights.
