PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Please read the Genomics and Society Mentorship Program Policies here. You will need to sign and date both copies of the Dismissal Procedures as well as the Summer Policy Agreement. You should retain the student copy for your files, forwarding other signed agreements to Penny White.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
The first full week of the GSMP, trainees will spend mornings with Dr. Mathews in Room W2207 in the main BSPH building. Week two (June 2-6) trainees will work with mentors in their respective office locations. Week 3 (June 9-13) begins the Summer Institute in Bioethics, in which students will participate. The institute consists of the following week-long, courses:
Basics of Bioethics (9 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.)
Alan Regenberg, MBE, instructor.
Introduction to Ethics of U.S. and International Human Subject Research (1-4:20 p.m.)
Joe Ali, JD, instructor.
All seminars, professional development events and workshops will be posted to a Google calendar (below). Unless otherwise specified, GSMP events will take place in Room W2207 in the main BSPH building. Each date will contain event contact/speaker name. Following the event, any handouts received from the speaker will be posted to this site.
