Samantha Huanca

MBE Student

Samantha Huanca graduated from Cornell University in 2023, majoring in Biology & Society and minoring in Health Equity. In her undergraduate career, she was directly involved with Cornell’s Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives and is committed to pursuing opportunities to inspire and support diverse populations within the healthcare system. Post-graduation, Samantha is working at the Kennedy Krieger Institute within the Behavioral Psychology department as a part of the Pediatric Feeding Disorders team. She has always loved working with children and hopes to concentrate her master’s studies on exploring the intersections between the field of neonatal/ pediatric ethics & research ethics in terms of emerging technological advancements, and clinical decisions regarding pain treatment, life-sustaining treatment, plans for resuscitation, and adequate nutrition. Additionally, Samantha enjoys painting, singing, and reading books in her free time.
