Rachel Riley recently completed her first year of law school at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She received a Bachelor of Science from Furman University, where she studied public health and politics and international affairs. Prior to starting law school, she worked at the National Academies in the Board on Population Health and Public Health Practice. She is interested in the intersection of law, health policy, and bioethics and how legal frameworks can be used to address complex ethical issues in healthcare.
