Dr. Nathan R. Stenberg is the inaugural Director of Disability at The Johns Hopkins University and Affiliate Faculty with the Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics.
Born with a developmental disability and raised in rural Minnesota, Nathan is a first-generation college graduate. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Roberts Wesleyan University, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Performance Historiography from the University of Minnesota.

- The intersections of bioethics, consent, law, medicine, policy, trauma, and embodiment to better understand how care can unintentionally become harm.
