Mpho Sadie Mogodi, MBChB, MPH, MHPE

Mpho S. Mogodi is a medical doctor, public health specialist and currently practises as a health professions educator. Before coming to academia, she worked in clinical care, clinical research, public health, human resources for health, and development partner technical assistance. Dr. Mogodi is a member of the University of Botswana Biomedical Institutional Review Board (IRB). Her interests are an ethical socially accountable transformative health professions education that will produce potential change agents for the country’s challenged health system, community-engaged medical education and a responsive health system. Additionally, her academic responsibilities include teaching undergraduates and residents, and scholarship of teaching and learning and clinical and public health research. Furthermore, Mogodi also provides education practice support through faculty development activities to the Faculty of Medicine teaching staff.
