Maneesha Sakhuja was most recently a pediatric hospital medicine fellow at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She trained as a pediatric resident at the Harriet Lane Pediatric Residency Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University and an MHS at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Maneesha worked as a staffer on the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues under President Obama’s Administration prior to medical school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In residency, Maneesha’s scholarly work focused on bioethics education for medical trainees as well as reducing language-based inequity in pediatric clinics. Her interests are at the intersection of pediatric medicine, policy, and equity.
