John Henry Brems, MD, MBE

Hecht-Levi Fellow

Henry Brems is a pulmonary and critical care fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Originally from Maryland, Henry completed his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame studying Physics-in-Medicine. He then attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania where he also obtained a Master’s in Bioethics before moving to Nashville to complete a residency in Internal Medicine. As a resident, his research focused on conflicts of interest within clinical practice guidelines that provide major recommendations on the delivery of care to patients. As a Hecht-Levi fellow, Henry is interested in further studying conflicts of interest and broader research ethics specifically within the field of pulmonary and critical care.
