Jierui Ou completed a BA in Anthropology (concentration in Medical Anthropology) and Psychology, with a minor in Bioethics, at the University of Virginia in 2020.
Her research interests include: critical phenomenology, biopolitics in health policies, ethics of mental health care practices, public discourse around mental health in different cultures, and anthropology of ethics and morality.
