Jessica Barth is a 2022 graduate from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, where she earned dual degrees in Philosophy and Biobehavioral Health, as well as a minor in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. She received honors in Bioethics and Medical Humanities for the completion of her undergraduate honors thesis, which uncovered the systemic injustice experienced by marginalized populations residing in close proximity to animal agriculture operations. Jessica looks forward to continuing her research on the links between food systems, public health, and justice while at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
