Dr. Annette Rid’s research interests span research ethics, the ethics of health policy and clinical ethics. Current projects focus on the social value of health-related research and the ethics of vaccine donation to lower-income countries, among others.
Dr. Rid serves as a liaison between the NIH Clinical Center’s Department of Bioethics and the NIH Fogarty International Center, where she provides ethics consultation and educational support. She is also a Visiting Professor at the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine, King’s College London.
