Rieder will discuss his journey of opioid dependence that began with a motorcycle accident and his profound suffering when seeking support and guidance on tapering off the powerful pain killers from the providers who prescribed them. He advocates for health provider education, policies and alternate treatments as a path to resolving our national opioid crisis.
