The Berman Institute’s Kadija Ferryman joins the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy for a virtual public meeting on bias in artificial intelligence in healthcare. Speakers will discuss the ways in which bias is introduced throughout the software product lifecycle as well as promising practices around testing for and preventing biased performance or worsening health disparities. Speakers will also discuss whether and how artificial intelligence can help to reduce bias from human decision-making and address injustice in health care.
