Jeff completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of North Carolina at Asheville. His latest research examined attitudes surrounding the ethical considerations of CRISPR genetic therapies. Jeff has also served as a public health equity advocate surveying the need for better access to early childhood education, affordable housing, and public transportation. Some of his many interests include Metaethics and Moral Philosophy, policy and health equity, Genetics and Genomics, vaccinations, the opioid epidemic, informed consent, end of life care, and food systems. In response to COVID-19, Jeff has been working as a part of an interdisciplinary team at UNC Health Sciences to provide support for isolated individuals in the Western North Carolina community.
