Maria Janine Nambusi, B. Ethics, PgD, is a Social Scientist previously associated with Makerere University-John Hopkins University (MU-JHU) Research Collaboration, which has for the last thirty years been involved in conducting HIV Research Studies and Intervention Trials in Uganda. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning & Management, a bachelor’s degree in Ethics and training in Global Mental Health from the University of Washington, United States. She holds more than 10 years’ experience in HIV Programs and Research and is highly experienced in Community, Stake holder and Policy Maker engagements, Psychosocial & Behavioral Assessments, mobilizing and educating the community on HIV Research from which she pre-screens and recruits key populations into HIV Clinical trials, as well as retaining them.
