Caroline Lumpkins serves as Administrative Coordinator at the Berman Institute of Bioethics, supporting the Deputy Director for Medicine and Harvey M. Meyerhoff Professor of Bioethics and Medicine.
Caroline received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Philosophy from Boston University. She is an alumna of the Berman Institute, graduating with her Master of Bioethics Degree in 2021.
Prior to joining the Berman Institute, Caroline worked for the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD). During her time at NORD, she developed educational resources and programming for patients, caregivers, medical professionals, and students. Most recently, she utilized both her background in education and bioethics expertise as the ELSI Research Associate for the Newborn Screening Translational Research Network (NBSTRN). She currently provides support to several projects funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as an independent research associate.
