Julia C. Chill is the Director of Finance & Administration for the Berman Institute of Bioethics. She oversees the administrative, financial, and operational activities of the Institute. Ms. Chill provides counsel to the Institute’s Executive Director with respect to strategic planning, management of resources, and policy changes as well as managing and directing special projects. She also serves as senior liaison to the Institute’s Advisory Board and to faculty and Institute committees. Ms. Chill has served in both an administrative and programmatic capacity at numerous organizations, including the Carnegie Corporation of New York, where she focused on the education and health of children. She has a strong interest in human rights and was a founding member and Chair of the Children’s Rights Network of Amnesty International, USA. Ms. Chill holds a law degree from the University of Maryland, a master’s in public health, as well as a certificate in health and human rights, from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Hygiene and Public Health and a bachelor of arts from the University of Chicago.
