Elizabeth May works with Juli Bollinger and Dr. Jeremy Sugarman, as the research program coordinator, for managing the ethical and practical issues associated with incidental and secondary findings in pragmatic clinical trials. She has a BA in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a MA in International Development Studies from Chulalongkorn University. Before coming to work at the Berman Institute, she was working as a Marketing Manager in Jacksonville, NC. She also has experience teaching World History, Philosophy, Research Methodology, and English as a Foreign Language. Elizabeth is most proud of a project that she initiated and implemented in Ecuador, which is a social responsibility project, where volunteers from her previous place of employment would visit a marginalized community, to mentor and tutor youth who did not have access to quality education.
