Daphne Washington is a Research Program Coordinator for a project, funded by the Greenwall Foundation, comparing simple informed consent strategies. Prior to joining the Berman Institute, Daphne completed the Public Health Associate Program with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her assignment with the program was with the Baltimore City Health Department’s STD/HIV Prevention Department. While working with the health department, she was trained and worked as a Disease Intervention Specialist at the Druid STD Clinic and then later as a Data and Field Coordinator in partnership with the Center for Child & Community Health Research at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Daphne received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Urban Studies and minors in Public Health and African American Studies.
